It is with great pleasure to welcome you to the Shiva Shakti Center in Garfield, New Jersey. It took a lot of sweat, tears, planning and of course money to open this beautiful devine temple. This dream started in May 1999 when a temporary temple was established in the home of Shastri Dineshbhai Jani, a few years later in 2004 a building was purchased and construction started shortly after in 2005. It was a long road but we finally have built something we can be proud of and have something for the future generations to enjoy.

We have named the temple Shiva Shakti Center as a continuance of the old temple. The temple is comprised of various deities of Hindu religion. Therefore, everyone from different backgrounds can come and worship their own deity. This temple will also be a place for the younger generation to learn and understand our Hindu religion, because we are here today and gone tomorrow, but our future generation needs to remember our roots.

We would like to thank you all for your support, generous donations and help to make our dream possible.
